11.09.26: NYX (UK)
Electronic drone choir
Inspired by the Greek goddess of the night, the London-based collective NYX creates music that balances chaos and beauty, primordial force and futurism. Working at the intersection of choral music, electronic music, and performance, they unfold intense sonic landscapes where the voice becomes a boundless instrument for emotion, community, and transformation. We are excited to present NYX this September in collaboration with ALICE.
Prior to the concert, on September 8, NYX will be hosting a free vocal embodiment and somatic movement workshop at Brønshøj Vandtårn. Read more and sign up here.

NYX (UK)
Led by composer and musical director Sian O’Gorman, NYX has emerged in recent years as one of the most visionary collectives on the experimental European scene. Their works explore connections between body, architecture, and nature, unfolding as immersive audiovisual rituals in which the voice functions as a limitless medium. In Greek mythology, Nyx is the primordial goddess of the night, born from chaos and giving rise to light and day. Inspired by this very duality, NYX creates music that can feel meditative, raw, otherworldly, and deeply physical all at once.
NYX has performed at renowned venues and festivals including Rewire Festival, Centre Pompidou, London Design Festival, ICA, and Queen Elizabeth Hall, and their critically acclaimed album Deep England, created in collaboration with Gazelle Twin, was named one of the year’s best albums by The Guardian. At the same time, NYX’s practice stretches across installations, performative works, and compositions for film, television, and video games, including contributions to the soundtrack for Diablo IV.
Surrender yourself to NYX’s dark electronic textures and hypnotic vocal layers when they perform at ALICE this September.
